How to Save Your Casino Seeds on Mobile (Android & iOS)

Your casino seeds are your proof. Without them, you can't verify if you were cheated. This guide shows you exactly how to save them — on your phone, step by step.

Why this matters: If you play at provably fair casinos like Stake, BC.Game, or Roobet on your phone, you need to save your seeds before rotating them. Once rotated, the old server seed is gone forever. No seed = no proof = no audit possible.

What You Need to Save

Every provably fair bet uses four pieces of data:

  1. Server Seed (hashed) — The casino's commitment, shown before you bet
  2. Server Seed (revealed) — Shown after you rotate; this is the proof
  3. Client Seed — Your seed, you can set this yourself
  4. Nonce — A counter that increments with every bet

CRITICAL: You MUST save the server seed hash BEFORE you rotate. After rotation, it's gone. No hash = no way to prove the casino committed to that seed in advance.

Android — Step by Step

Step 1: Find Your Seeds

Stake.com

  1. Open Stake in Chrome, tap your avatar (top right)
  2. Tap Settings > Security > Provably Fair
  3. You will see: Active Client Seed, Active Server Seed (Hash), Total Bets (Nonce)

BC.Game

  1. Open BC.Game in browser, tap profile icon
  2. Go to Fairness > Provably Fair
  3. Shows: Server Seed Hash, Client Seed, Nonce

Roobet

  1. Open Roobet, tap hamburger menu
  2. Go to Fairness > Seeds
  3. Shows: Hashed Server Seed, Client Seed, Total Bets

Step 2: Save the Hash (Before Rotating!)

  1. Long-press the Server Seed Hash and select Copy
  2. Open Google Keep, Notes, or any note app
  3. Create a new note: SEED BACKUP - [Casino] - [Date]
  4. Paste the hash
  5. Also copy and paste your Client Seed and Nonce count

Step 3: Rotate and Save the Revealed Seed

  1. Tap Rotate or Unhash in the casino's Provably Fair settings
  2. The old server seed is now revealed in plain text
  3. Long-press, Copy, and Paste it into your note
  4. Your note should now have: Hash, Revealed Seed, Client Seed, Nonce

Step 4: Verify

Go to our Verifier Tool and enter your data. The tool checks:

  • Does SHA-256(revealed seed) match the hash you saved?
  • Were the bet outcomes computed correctly?
  • Do the results pass NIST SP 800-22 randomness tests?

iOS (iPhone/iPad) — Step by Step

Step 1: Find Your Seeds

Same navigation as Android — use Safari or Chrome. The casino pages work the same way on iOS.

iOS Tip: Enable Clipboard Access

iOS sometimes blocks clipboard from browser to apps. If pasting doesn't work:

  1. Go to Settings > [App Name] > Allow Paste
  2. Or use the Share Sheet: tap Share, then Copy

Step 2: Save to Apple Notes

  1. Long-press the server seed hash and select Copy
  2. Open Apple Notes (or any note app)
  3. Create note: SEED BACKUP - [Casino] - [Date]
  4. Paste hash, client seed, and nonce

Pro Tip: Use a locked note (Notes app > Lock Note) for extra security. Your seeds are financial evidence.

Step 3: Rotate and Save

Same process as Android: Rotate, Copy revealed seed, Paste into your note.

Step 4: Verify

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Rotating without saving the hash first — You lose the pre-commitment proof
  • Only saving the revealed seed — Without the hash, you can't prove it was committed beforehand
  • Forgetting the nonce count — You won't know which bets were covered by that seed pair
  • Screenshotting instead of copying — Screenshots can be edited; text is harder to forge
